4-Year Army ROTC Scholarships

 

 

 

 

 

ROCKS administer a limited number of Army 4 year scholarships to perspective candidates attending Historically Black College/Universities and all other schools having ROTC programs.  To obtain a printable application, please visit www.goarmy.com/rotc/hs_four_year_scholarship.jsp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                ·         These are separate from and in addition to mission support allocations.  
 

 

 

 

·         They are offline and not a part of the normal electronic system

      Therefore, only paper applications are accepted with “ROCKS

      Scholarship” written across the top of the first page. 

 

 

·         As a minimum, fill in the basic information on the first three pages,

      including SAT/ACT, GPA scores and school of choice. 

 

 

·         Students who have already applied for a scholarship and their

      applications are in the Cadet Command database are not eligible

      to reapply for ROCKS Scholarship

 

 

Special considerations:

 

·         These scholarships are designed to assist in recruiting high school

      students to increase enrollment in ROTC.

 

·         They are not to be used for on campus recruiting, except under special

      circumstances pre-approved by BG(R) Simms.

 

·         The overall goal is to improve diversity in the Army

The ROCKS, Inc. is a tax-exempt non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) comprised of ROTC and Military Academy Cadets, active duty, reserve component, commissioned officers and active duty or reserve component warrant officers and Department of Defense GS12 and above civilians. The organization was formed to provide mentorship, professional development and social interaction to strengthen the officer corps. In addition to the R.C. Cartwright Scholarship Fund, the "Leadership Outreach" program provides the opportunity for teams consisting of ROCK members to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide professional career development guidance to ROTC students.
