BG(R) EARL SIMMS, VICE PRESIDENT, ROTC PROGRAMS

Board Responsibilities:  Oversee the execution of the R.C. Cartwright Scholarship, the LTG Edward Honor Award/Scholarship, ROTC Leadership Outreach Program, support the 4-Year ROTC Scholarship and serve as the principle point of contact with the U.S. Army Cadet Command.

To support the ROCK’s goals and objectives over the next 6 to twelve months the ROTC programs will focus on the following areas/programs.  Revitalize the ROTC Leadership Outreach Program, gain increased support for the 4-Year ROTC Program, execute the initial LTG Edward Honor Award/Scholarship.  A longer term program will focus on developing a role model program with a focus on high school age young men and women.
