Duty Description for The National Board of the ROCKS, Inc. Vice President, ROTC Programs 

a.     Align and synchronize all VP, ROTC Programs goals to the National Board of the ROCKS objectives.

b.     Manage, facilitate, and advocate ROCKS, Inc. initiatives and activities in conjunction with U.S. Army Cadet Command’s Senior and Junior Army ROTC Programs.

c.     Primary coordinator and facilitator for the National Board of ROCKS, Inc. scholarship, recruiting, and ROTC activities.

d.     Update and maintain written Standard Operations Procedures for the National Board of the ROCKS, Inc. Scholarship Board.

e.     Host and chair the National Board of the ROCKS, Inc. Annual Scholarship Board.

f.      Establish and maintain relationships with the U.S. Army Cadet Command’s Recruiting and Scholarship Division.

g.     Develop initiatives and opportunities to participate in national college and recruiting events with high school and college bound students.

h.     Host and chair ROTC National Scholarship Board Information briefings to ROCKS, Inc. Chapters, ROCKS Inc. members, and high school ROTC applicants; Coach, mentor and motivate          Chapters on ROTC Scholarship awareness and opportunities.

i.      Review all ROCKS, Inc. administrative and recruiting processes to increase efficiencies in recruiting and awarding scholarships for both Junior and Senior Army ROTC Programs.

j.      Submit quarterly articles to the National Board ROCKS, Inc. quarterly journal “The ROCKET” on ROTC cadet scholarship opportunities, and cadet ROTC highlights, and ROTC program          initiatives.

k.     Lead, mentor, and support professorial development Leadership Outreach activities at JROTC, ROTC, and National Level College Recruiting Fairs.

l.      Participate and integrate ROTC and JROTC Cadets into the National Board of the ROCKS, Inc. biennial Leadership and Training Conference.

m.   Provide scheduled reports to the National Board of the ROCKS, Inc Board of Directors on all ROTC Programs and Scholarship Activities.

n.    Support and assist ROCKS, Inc. Chapters with local ROTC and cadet recruiting initiates.
